**As of July 7, 2023, project was awarded to DeSilva Gates Construction, awarded amount is $7,479,778.90.** The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: site work and paving for a series of roads in Alameda County California. As of April 28, 2023, a general contractor has not yet been selected for this project. A firm construction timeline for this project has not yet been released. GENERAL WORK DESCRIPTION: The project consists of providing and implementing a traffic control plan; providing construction area signs; providing and implementing water pollution control plan; providing construction site management; sweeping streets; notifying and coordinating with utility companies, schools, businesses, and property owners; clearing and grubbing; construction survey staking; performing minor roadway excavation and site grading; roadway milling and resurfacing; and, roadway reconstruction (Full Depth Reclamation process). Additional work includes adjusting surface utilities to grade, replacing and constructing new asphalt concrete dikes; replacing existing culverts, outfall and inlet structures at mile posts 5.83, 5.91 and 6.10; repairing and resurfacing roadway shoulders to construct wider shoulder areas; installing (new) and replacing (existing) guardrails; installing centerline rumble strip; replacing and installing new detector loops; signing and striping; furnishing and applying water; cleaning site; and, other related work necessary to complete said project. The project and its construction activities include Best Management Practices to protect the environment
