Daviess County Fiscal Court intends to establish a contract for Janitorial Services for the Morton J. Holbrook Judicial Center. The Contractor will furnish all supervision, employees,
supplies, and equipment necessary to perform all janitorial services specified in this document, including all
cleaning supplies (vacuums, floor buffers, carpet cleaning machine, etc). The County shall furnish Trash Can
Liners & Restroom Supplies (such as paper towels, toilet tissue, hand soaps, etc.). Contract period: July 1, 2023 -June 30, 2024 Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the time indicated on page 1. The Bidders and
the public are invited but not required to attend the formal opening of the bids. No decisions relating to the award
of a contract or agreement will be made at the opening. During the mandatory pre-bid appointment, new bidders will be given the opportunity
to inspect and perform measurements of any location prior to bid for assessment. Each bidder must submit
their measurements for each location bid in order for the County to estimate a total cost for
professional services.New bidders must schedule and attend a pre-bid appointment in order to
participate. Appointments can be made by contacting the Specifications Contact detailed on Page 1 of this
document. All initial meetings will be in the Court Room at the Daviess County Courthouse, 212 St. Ann
Street: Room 201, Owensboro, KY 42303. The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, and to waive any irregularities in said
bids. The right is reserved to award bids based on the best interest and/or what is most advantageous to the
County. The County also reserves the right to consider as a part of the bid evaluation the stated warranty, stated
delivery schedule and payment terms. Award will be made, according to the opinion of the Daviess County Fiscal
Court, to the best evaluated bid.
