As of June 9,2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. For furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment,tools, and guarantees thereof to construct Broadway Avenue Improvements and Broadway Avenue Overlay.This Contract provides for two schedules of work: Schedule A: Rehabilitation of Broadway Avenue (Harris Street to Monroe Street). Improvements include, but are not specifically limited to, pavement pulverization, storm drainage improvements, cement concrete curbs and gutters, asphalt paving, guardrail, channelization, traffic control and other miscellaneous items. Schedule B: Asphalt overlay of Broadway Avenue (Adams Street to Monroe Street) Improvements includes asphalt overlay, channelization, traffic control, and other miscellaneous items. The Work shall be substantially complete within 40 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, South Bend, Washington. Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Bid Documents. All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashiers check, or Proposal bond payable to the "City of South Bend" and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Proposal amount.
