SCOPE: In accordance with the provisions of Texas Government Code (TGC), Section 2254 and Rules and Procedures adopted by the Texas Juvenile Justice Department (TJJD), TJJD solicits through this Request for Qualifications (RFQ), Design Professionals (DPs)(also referred to as Service Provider(s) or Respondent(s) in this RFQ) for Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) professional engineering and other specialized professional services. TJJD, at its sole discretion, may select as many DPs as deemed to be in its best interest to meet the needs for TJJD facilities throughout the State of Texas. It is the intent of TJJD to qualify multiple submissions. The initial IDIQ agreements will have no monetary value and because of the indefinite nature of the need for services, any agreement resulting from this RFQ does not imply exclusivity, a guaranteed minimum purchase amount, or a guarantee of project assignment to the DP(s) selected. CONTRACT TERM: The contract term for IDIQ, Professional Engineering Services is June 1, 2023, through August 31, 2025. Project-specific assignments may be awarded within the time frame during which the IDIQ contract agreement is valid. It is anticipated that the total of all IDIQ assignments will be for each term of the contract and for each renewal option. The initial term of service is for two (2) years and three (3) months term, and two (2), two (2) year renewal options.
