Renovation of a water / sewer project in Wall Township, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
A. Furnish all labor, equipment, materials, tools, means, methods, and incidentals necessary to complete the Work as required by the Contract Documents for this Construction Contract. The contractor shall coordinate, through the Owner/Architect/Engineer, the work of their contract with any work by others. B. This following abbreviated summary is provided in order to briefly describe the work covered by the Contract Documents for this Construction Contract. It is not all inclusive of the work under the Contract. All questions shall be submitted in writing to the Owner and shall be postmarked by noon (12:00 pm) on May 30, 2023 The proposed work consists of but is not limited to: Furnishing, installation, and programming of equipment associated with a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) System in accordance with the requirements stipulated herein and all prevailing federal, state, and local safety and labor regulations. The work is located throughout the Wall Township Distribution system. Each prospective bidder will have to provide the appropriate installation references and certifications to the satisfaction of the Owner. Bids must be submitted on forms prepared by Township of Wall. Each bid must be accompanied by an agreement to become surety, properly executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and which agreement shall be attached to the proposal. A bid bond is not required for this contract. If a bidder is a corporation or a partnership, the bidder, in conformance with Chapter 33, P.L. 1977, shall submit with his / her bid a statement setting forth the names and addresses of all stockholders who own a ten percent (10%) or greater interest in the firm. The Project shall conform to the Local Public Contract Law, P.L. 1971, Chapter 198, N.J.S.A.40A:ll-1 et. seq. The bid receipt date will be at least ten (10) days after the advertisement date; addenda notices will be provided no less than seven (7) days prior to the bid receipt deadline. Pursuant to P.L. 2010, c. 108, a bidder may request that its bid be withdrawn due to a "mistake" onthe part of the bidder, as defined in the Law. The Township Committee of the Township of Wall reserves the right to reject all bids where the lowest bid is not accepted. The Township further reserves the right to waive any informality in bidding and the right to reject any or all bids of deemed to be in the best interest of the Township to do so, and reserves the right to hold the bids and proposal guarantees of the three (3) lowest regular bidders for sixty (60) days before making an award of contract and each bidder agrees that (s)he will not withdraw his / her bid for that period of time. If bids for more than one publicly bid lease are received at the same date and time, the Township shall designate the sequencing of the bid openings at its discretion. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of Local Public Contracts Law, the Prevailing wage Act, and the requirements of P.L. 1975, c. 127 and, if awarded the contract bidder will be required to comply with N.J.S.A. 10:5-3.1 et seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:27 Affirmative Action.
