Site work for a municipal facility in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
Work entails pressure washing to remove the existing paint, cleaning the existing concrete, and applying two coats of paint primer The exact limits of work will be shown to Contractors at the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting and will approximately coincide with the limits of the existing mural on the Biden Expressway retaining wall. Maintenance and Protection of Traffic will be the responsibility of the Contractor. The Contractor will be required to coordinate their work schedule with Lackawanna County's Mural Artist. A bid bond, certified check, or cash in the amount of 10% of the bid amount is required to be submitted with each bid, payable to the Lackawanna County Treasurer, as a guarantee of the bidder's willingness to execute the contract if awarded the same. Anticipated Notice to Proceed is June 15, 2023, with an estimated completion date of between July 15-30, 2023, depending on artist installation start date. The Contractor must coordinate their work schedule with Lackawanna County's Mural Artist before proceeding with the work. Question Deadline 05/19/2023
