Renovation of an educational facility in Danville, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Work generally includes but is not limited to the following: - Selective abatement and interior remodel of select spaces. - New accessible restrooms on the first floor. - Building entry upgrades including adding a ramp, stoops and door hardware upgrades. - Select plumbing and HVAC upgrades. - Life safety system updates. Contractor and Subcontractors shall include in bids, the cost for the current prevailing wage (Illinois Prevailing Wage Act - 820 ILCS 130/0.01 et seq.). The Contractor shall ensure that any Subcontractors shall comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities in the bidding, or to accept the bids that in their judgment will be for their best interest. Once awarded the contract, the Contractor will furnish a satisfactory performance bond, execute the contract and proceed with the work. The Contractor shall indicate the amount of the performance bond on the bid form.
