The base bid scope of work consists of removal and reconstruction of the top layer of the tennis court, crack sealing, new striping, new fencing (4.5' tall and 12' tall), conversion of two courts from tennis courts into a pickleball court and a futsal court, new black vinyl shade fabric, new pedestrian gates, and new nets and posts for the pickleball and futsal courts. The furthest west court will change from a tennis court into 4 pickleball courts, and the furthest east court will become a futsal court. See attached site map for court dimensions and proposed improvements. security must be not less than ten percent (10%) of the Total Bid Price, consisting of the total base bid plus the total additive bid alternates. The successful Bidder shall be required to execute a Material and Labor Payment Bond and Performance Bond, issued by a corporate surety, in conformance with the requirements set forth in the Contract Documents, each for not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. The City reserves the right to award the Contract, to reject any or all Bids, to waive non- material and inconsequential irregularities in any Bid, and to reject nonconforming, nonresponsive, non-responsible, or conditional Bids. THERE IS NO PRE-BID CONFERENCE REQUIRED FOR THIS PROJECT.
