The City is seeking offers to supply a 25kw (19-25kW max output) DCFC to support the City’s deployment of heavy-duty fleet EVs. The majority of the EVSEs operated by the City are under a network agreement with Flo/Addenergie. New chargers that are compatible with this network/webapp will be required. The level of compatibility should be described in the RFO response. Currently, the City has a public network of 80 Level 2 chargers, 2 level 3 chargers and a corporatenetwork of 29 Level 2 chargers. One hundred and twelve (112) of the existing chargers are provided by Addenergie/Flo with the balance being non-networked chargers dedicated to fleet vehicle charging Submission of an offer indicates acceptance of all the terms and conditions set out in the RFO, including those that follow and that are included in all appendices and any addenda. The Supplier shall comply with, and observe, all applicable laws and relevant regulations of any federal, provincial or municipal government or authority applicable to the supply of the service. All electrical items must be approved, by an authorized agency, for use in the Province of British Columbia. Certification markings attesting to this fact must appear on all electrical items supplied. Any costs relating to this shall be the responsibility of the Supplier. All materials delivered and services provided must be in accordance with all laws, regulations and requirements of WorksafeBC and Occupational Health and Safety Legislation The Supplier must not assign any agreement, or portion thereof, entered into without the advance written consent of the City. The City may, in its sole discretion, withhold this consent. The City can select any or no offer. Evaluation of offers will be based on the best combination of price, quality, compatibility to City’s existing systems and delivery so as to provide the best value to the City and not necessarily the lowest price. The City may order additional units form the successful if and when required.
