The City of Virginia Beach is soliciting Statements of Interest and Qualifications from interested firms to provide architectural, interior design, and engineering services for building construction projects including maintenance, repairs, renovations, equipment installations, and new construction. Services include, but are not limited to studies, testing, inspections, architecture, engineering, design, space planning, interior design, furniture selection/specification, preparation of construction documents, bidding and contract award recommendations, and construction contract administration. Services will be provided under a (1) One-Year Services Contract plus (3) Three Renewable Annually for three additional years for a total term of four years. The maximum amount for any work order and the annual maximum shall be in accordance with 2.2-4303.1 of the Code of Virginia as amended. There is no guarantee of the amount of work that shall be authorized. It is the intention of the City to award this contract to multiple Architectural/Engineering firms. Note: All Prospective Bidders/respondents Are Hereby Cautioned Not to Contact Any Member of the City of Virginia Beach Staff or Officials Other Than the Specified Contact Person. The City of Virginia Beach Reserves the Right to Accept or Reject Any or All Bids/proposals in Whole or in Part and to Wave Any Informalities in the Bid/proposal Process and Reserves the Right to Enter Into Any Contract Deemed to Be in the Best Interest of the City. The Specifications in This Bid/proposal Are Intended as a Quality Indicator and Guide for Your Bidding/response and Unless Otherwise Stated, the City Will Consider Alternate Bids/proposals of Equal or Better Quality, Which Shall Be Accompanied by Descriptive Literature. The Entire Contents of This Invitation to Bid/request for Proposal, Any Addenda, and Bidder's/proposer's Response Shall Be Incorporated Into Any Resulting Contract.
