Redevelopment of the former zoo lands. Amenities may include an Amphitheatre, outdoor classrooms & trails. Construction to be phased. TIMELINE: Project is in the conceptual master planning & vision stage. Owner is working on a vision for the redevelopment of the lands with Valleys 2000. Valleys 2000 hired The Planning Partnership (landscape architect) to create a high-level concept for creative use of this space. The draft design concept and master plan was presented at a Public Information Centre. Phase 1 (trails) RFP for engineering services has been issued under a separate report. Updates may be available spring 2026.
