Site work for a water / sewer project in Waterloo, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The purpose of this RFT is to acquire a Contractor to complete the fully structural cured-in-place (CIPP) lining of approximately 840 m of 200 mm diameter ductile iron watermain on Highpoint Avenue from Toll Gate Boulevard to Northfield Drive (Project Area) in the neighbourhood known as Lakeshore. The underground infrastructure along this street was installed in 1971/72 (-52 years old) and the CCTV investigation of the storm and sanitary sewers indicate they are in good condition. City of Waterloo Utilities and Asset Management have identified this section of watermain for structural lining due to the high frequency of watermain breaks in recent years.
