Brazoria County Municipal Utility District No. 31 Lift Station No. 2 - Scope of Work of the Contract Documents includes the following: Construction of Lift Station. Completion- 300 Calendar Days 1. Remove and dispose of obstructions and objectionable materials within project construction area if not designated to remain. 2. Remove culverts, storm sewers, manholes, and inlets not designated to remain in proper sequence to maintain necessary traffic and site drainage. 3. Paving designated for removal shall be broken up and hauled away. 4. Remove curbs designated for removal to existing expansion joints or to saw-cuts where no near expansion joint exists. 5. Remove and dispose of above-ground obstructions such as concrete slabs and walks, retaining and other walls, stone, brick, concrete bases, debris, trash, scrap, rubbish, poles, and fences not designated to remain. 6. Remove and dispose of below-grade obstructions, cisterns, manholes, inlets, junction boxes, foundations, footings, septic tanks, basins, underground conduits, and abandoned utilities if not designated to remain to depths as follows: a. In roadway and structural construction areas: Remove completely. b. In areas to receive less than 3 ft. embankment: 2 ft. below natural ground. c. In non-structural areas to be excavated: 2 ft. below lowest elevation of excavation. d. In all other areas: 2 ft below natural ground 1.
