Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Grants Pass, Oregon. Conceptual plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
This project will revitalize Westholm Park, an older neighborhood park. The project will include new playground equipment, additional lighting, restroom improvements, resurfaced court facilities and drainage improvements. The first phase of lighting along with a camera relocation was completed in FY'21. A State Parks Grant for playground improvements was awarded in late FY'21 and installation along with drainage improvements is planned for FY'22. ADA access improvements will be proposed for Community Development Block Grant funding in FY'23. As of December 19, 2023, project is in the FY2024 Capital Budget. Project funded for FY23-24. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
