Bid Results: McDonald Municipal & Industrial - $424,269 Pioneer Construction Services - $462,700 CFC Industries - $466,000 The work consists of providing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to construct Lift Station No. 1 Improvements for Northwest Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 21 including, but not limited to: demolishing the existing piping, valves, and pipe supports in the wet well; providing and installing new piping, valves, and pipe supports; demolishing and replacing the existing oldest pump in service including guide rails and lifting chains; pressure blasting and applying 1" thick repair mortar to the wet well and valve vault interior surfaces; applying 100% solids epoxy coating to all wet well and valve vault interior surfaces; demolishing and replacing the valve vault drain piping and plug valves; surface preparation and application of protective coating system to all wet well and valve vault piping, fittings, and valves; recoating the emergency engine driven pump enclosure and associated aboveground piping and fittings; installing a permanent bypass connection; bypass pumping to complete the work; demolishing and replacing the existing access gates with 8' tall gates; demolishing a section of existing brick fence and installing a 8' tall pedestrian access gate; adding additional brick rows to raise the existing fence to a minimum overall fence height of 8'; surface preparing and coating the exterior brick fence; replacing the existing control panel and above ground conduit; replacing the terminal boxes, terminal blocks, and wiring; installing duct seal at all conduits penetrating the wet well; installing a new ultrasonic transducer; and all other miscellaneous items specified or shown in the contract documents, including adjustments and work necessary for a complete working system.
