DESCRIPTION OF WORK The Work included under this Contract shall consist of all labor, materials, equipment, and the performance of all work necessary to complete the project known as Supplementary HVAC System for Transit Maintenance as described in Attachment #1 Mechanical Drawings and Attachment #2 Electrical Drawings Mechanical Drawings and Electrical Drawings. This Work shall be performed in accordance with the Contract Documents. This project is being partially funded by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA). The contract therefore includes required Federal Clauses as listed at the end of this IFB; to include, but not be limited to Davis-Bacon, Buy America, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), Lobbying. Bidders are urged to read and understand the obligations set out in these clauses, as each becomes an enforceable element of the contract. Note specifically that signed certifications regarding Buy America and Lobbying must be submitted along with the bid. If any prospective Offeror has questions about the specifications or other solicitation documents, then it is the Offeror's responsibility to contact the Purchasing Office and submit questions in writing, no later than April 28, 2023. Oral requests for information will not be accepted. No further written inquiries will be accepted after 2:00 P.M. local time on April 28, 2023. The project involves the addition of a new supplementary system for Fredericksburg Regional Transit's Maintenance Facility. The additional of new supplementary VRF cooling system for garage bays, parts room, and restrooms. All VRF Controls shall be full digital standalone.
