Reference number : 1718145 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2023-05-15 Submission sent electronically accepted: No The Quebec Union for the Rehabilitation of Birds of Prey (UQROP) is asking for bids for the construction of its new interpretation center which will be located on its Chouette à voir site! at 875 row Salvail in Saint-Jude (Quebec) J0H 1P0. UQROP is a charitable organization whose mission is the conservation of birds of prey and their natural habitat. It has two mandates: the rehabilitation of birds of prey throughout the province of Quebec and public education. She owns 22 hectares of land in Saint-Jude where she operates the site Chouette à voir! UQROP wants to build a building to receive the public all year round. The new interpretation center will be a 1,600 m 2 building on two levels. The structure is of exposed glued laminated wood. In addition, particular attention was paid to the eco-energy performance of the building envelope, which will make it one of the most energy-efficient buildings in Quebec. The terrain of the new building represents a challenge since the water table is very high there: the water will be controlled thanks to the various basins and ditches. Start Date: 06/19/2023
