The Rural Municipality of Corman Park No. 344 (Corman Park) along with the Cities of Warman (Warman) and Martensville (Martensville) will be undertaking a study to determine a location for a Future Regional Community Services Node (Regional Node). This site will be an important regional development area that will service the surrounding area of Corman Park as well as the Cities of Martensville and Warman. The details of the Regional Node Study are contained in the attached Request for Proposals (RFP). The scope of work for the consultant for the Regional Node Study will be completed within two (2) tasks. The first task will conduct a feasibility assessment of the area identifying drainage issues, including flood prone lands, servicing and infrastructure limitations and any other land impediments within the study area. Task 2 will use the information from Task 1 and create a plan for the Regional Node, identifying a servicing strategy and associated costs. Submit questions about the meaning and intent of the project requirements to Kylie McLean, Senior Planner, R.M. of Corman Park, at kstumborg@rmcormanpark.ca. The total project budget is $150,000. Warman, on behalf of the study partnering municipalities, received a grant from the Government of Saskatchewan for the study with the requirement the project be completed by June 1, 2024.
