Accessible Unit Conversion at the Campbell Street 667-3 Elderly Housing Development. Demolition of selective wall and floor construction and finishes, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical services, bathroom fixtures and cabinetry. Installation of new work to provide accessible renovations at six (6) apartments. Locations- Campbell Street Elderly Housing - 59 Campbell Street, Woburn, MA 01801 Filed sub-bids for the trades listed below will be received until May 10, 2023 at 2:00 PM. Sub Trades Section 09.65.00 Resilient Flooring Section 09.91.00 Painting Section 22.00.00 Plumbing Section 26.00.00 Electrical The work is estimated to cost $ 680,000.00 The participation goals for this project shall be 15.3% for minorities and 6.9% for women. 1. Accessible renovations at two (2) apartment units including the following: a. Kitchens: demolition of flooring, selective wall finish removal, mechanical and electrical items. Installation of new wall surfaces, flooring, and ADA compliant cabinets, counters, and appliances. Note: Owner to remove and dispose all existing kitchen cabinets and counters, and appliances. b. Bathrooms: demolition of flooring, toilet room accessories, plumbing fixtures, selective wall removal, door & frame, and mechanical and electrical items. Installation of new wall surfaces, dropped ceiling, door & frame, flooring, and ADA compliant plumbing fixtures, toilet room accessories, and roll-in shower. c. Living Rooms & Bedrooms: demolition of flooring, removal of existing doors & frames, and selective wall removal. Installation of new wall surfaces, bedroom closet, doors & frames, and automatic door operators. d. Painting of entire apartment unit including walls and ceilings, doors and frames, and associated trim. e. Modifications of the existing wet pipe sprinkler system. 2. Asbestos containing materials have been identified in the joint compound associated with gypsum wallboard, floor tiles and mastic, "popcorn" ceiling coating, ceramic tile glue, and baseboard mastic adhesive. ACM impacted by renovation or demolition work shall be removed by qualified personnel as specified herein at this development. 3. Disposal of all items above at a legal off-site dump in accordance with all laws, ordinances, rules and regulations pertaining to the disposal of materials from the job site. 4. The restoration of any items damaged or destroyed by encroaching upon areas outside of the project site. 5. Providing and restoring, where appropriate, all temporary facilities. 6. All Work either shown on the drawings or included in the specifications unless specifically indicated as not to be done.
