Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Knoxville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
All Qualified Bidders are invited to submit bids for the construction of Hardin Valley Road Sidewalk Extension - BID 3421. The Project consists of grading, drainage, sidewalk, signage and striping for the proposed sidewalk extension. All Bidders must be licensed Contractors as required by the Contractors Licensing Act of 1976, and as passed by the 89th General Assembly of the State of Tennessee. Furthermore, the Contractor should have the necessary licensing classifications as listed in the Rules of Tennessee Board for Licensing General Contractors-Chapter 0680-1. Each Bid must be accompanied by a certified check or by a Bidders Bond executed by the Bidder and a surety company licensed to do business in Tennessee in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid. The successful Bidder will be required to execute an acceptable performance and payment bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price within thirty (30) calendar days of contract award notice. Knox County reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all bids and to accept the bid deemed most favorable to the interest of the County. All technical questions will be addressed by written addendum issued by Knox County Procurement.
