Construction of approximately 8,268 L.F. of 16-inch Class 350 DIP waterline plus 538 LF of Jack & Bore with 30-inch Steel Encasement for 16-inch waterline, 1,215 L.F. of 12-inch Class 350 DIP waterline plus 537 LF of Jack & Bore with 24-inch Steel Encasement for 12-inch waterline, 20 L.F. of 10-inch C900 PVC waterline, 851 L.F. of 8-inch C900 PVC waterline plus 537 LF of Jack & Bore with 20- inch Steel Encasement for 8-inch waterline and 584 L.F. of 2-inch PEX waterline installed by open cut; OTHER STUFF, approximately 503 LF of temporary 2" waterline, gate valves with boxes; private water service lines and connections; asphalt pavement repairs; post-construction inspection, traffic control, and erosion prevention and sediment control. All Bidders must be licensed Contractors in the State of Tennessee in strict accordance with State regulations. All bidders shall comply with the Tennessee Contractor' License law Section 62-6-119 (Bid documents - Required disclosure by bidders) when submitting bids. Please refer to State Licensing Board website. Bidders may be required to obtain a Smyrna Business License. Refer to the contract documents for criteria. All bidders shall adhere to Title VI of the Civil Rights Act enacted in 1964 which states that "No person in the United States shall, on grounds of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance", state of Tennessee funding, and/or funded by the Town of Smyrna. Bids may not be withdrawn for ninety (90) days after the actual date of the opening. The Town of Smyrna reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive technicalities or informalities and to accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.
