The scope of this project includes a full demo and replacement of the mechanical system at Kelly School with a new mechanical system, as well as install a partial fire sprinkler system. This work includes all equipment, materials, and labor for this work. Contract also includes asbestos abatement work. Contractor is responsible for temporary heating/ventilation of school spaces during construction in school year that are unable to be tempered by the new system. Contractor to provide fire watch during construction period when students are onsite and ceilings are open. Contractor to provide all labor and material necessary to install new fire sprinkler system, including final design and trade permitting of partial fire sprinkler system to provide fire suppression to corridors and common areas. ANTICIPATED WORK START July 1st, 2023 Final Completion September 30, 2024 a certified check or cashier s check, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the submitted Bid, which has been executed in favor of Portland Public Schools, School District No The District hasset workforce diversity aspirational goals of 25% minority and 14% female hours
