Direct Questions to: Ilean Clute, Director of Finance & Operations, Email: iclute@fgsd.k12.or.us Phone: 503-359-6171, ext. 4547, The Forest Grove School District is requesting Proposals from qualified firms interested in providing Hazardous Materials Consultant Services for the Forest Grove School District Bond Projects as outlined in Exhibit 1 - Scope of Services. Services needed include pre-renovation hazardous material surveys and lab testing to support, project design and bid documents, construction and abatement oversight, and closeout services. Experience with similar K-12 public school environments is highly preferred. The successful firm will coordinate with the Forest Grove School District, Owners Representative (Cornerstone Management Group), the Project Architects and their Engineers, and other District hired consultants and contractors as necessary. The District reserves the right to select and negotiate all or only certain services as provided by the successful firm. The District intends to use a qualifications based selection process as outlined in ORS 279C.110. Proposals will be subject to an internal committee review and evaluation process. Brevity and clarity are appreciated. Top candidates will be invited to an interview. The District reserves the right to (1) reject any or all proposals; (2) waive any informalities or irregularities; and (3) select a firm which appears to be in the best interest of the District. Future notices regarding this solicitation, including solicitation addenda, will be emailed to all known RFP holders. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
