During this time, in order to ensure the safety and well-being of our staff and suppliers, , CPS will not be conducting in-person bid readings; however, all bid readings will be available for public viewing by livestream. Beginning Tuesday, April 7, 2020, and for the duration of the Gubernatorial Disaster Proclamation, CPS will ONLY be utilizing electronic bids for construction projects. Submissions will be through Bonfire only. Electronic bids will still be due at 2pm on the date advertised in the Bid solicitation. Each bid reading will be streamed. As of June 5, 2020, Illinois School Code has been signed into Law to allow for accepting of electronic bidding.
