The City of Sunnyvale (City) is accepting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from interested firms to establish multiple on-call contract(s) for the Department of Environmental Services Solid Waste Division for technical assistance. The City desires to award multiple on-call contracts with Consultants to support solid waste services for technical assistance including development and review of potential Request for Proposals. Consultant shall serve as a subject matter expert. Consultants will perform research and study-specific topic analysis, financial analysis, operational reviews, and audits. The City of Sunnyvale (City) is accepting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from interested firms to establish multiple on-call contract(s) for the Department of Environmental Services Solid Waste Division for technical assistance as more fully detailed below. It is anticipated that on-call contracts will be awarded to the pre-qualified consultants for a period of three (3) years, with an option to extend for two (2) additional one (1) year renewal periods at the sole discretion of the City. The number of Consultants selected will be at the sole discretion of the City and may be augmented, reduced, or terminated at any time. A contract award is not a guarantee of work. When a future project is available the City will provide information about that project and consider the consultants with on-call contracts awarded, per corresponding category, to engage for that opportunity. Projects will be identified based on the Department of Environmental Services needs and funding availability. Consultants that are awarded on call contracts will be considered for work opportunities based upon qualifications relevant to each project/task identified. The City will request a cost proposal on a project-by-project basis. If a reasonable fee cannot be achieved with the Consultant of choice, negotiations will proceed with the other qualified On-Call Consultants until a mutual agreement is reached.
