Renovation of a mixed-use development in Kinston, North Carolina. Working plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center; and swimming pool.
Contractor shall provide a turn-key inflatable air structure system to include a fabric envelope with a multi-layer thermal liner, seam joints (if necessary), a full bias safety net system (if necessary), an anchorage system to allow for the structure to be safely secured to the concrete pool deck surface, (4) person exit doors, (1) 3-leaf revolving doors, personal airlock system, HVAC system (1.5Mil BTU's) with built in back-up blower, automated wind and snow sensor, remote monitoring, generator, and appropriate lighting. The new inflatable air structure is to be approximately 115ft wide, 150ft long, 38 ft high and measure approximately 17,250 square feet. The pool area will be available for work Tentatively beginning September 4th. Work must be completed in the desired area by November 1. 2023. Work is to be performed between the hours of 5:00am and 8:00pm. Liquidated Damages of $100/calendar day will be assessed if the installation is not completed by November 1, 2023. Contractors must be licensed and general contractors must have license classification for Building Contractor. The awarded contractor will be required to provide 100% performance bond and payment bonds at time of contract execution. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids, to add or delete work, to waive informalities, and to award contract which, in the opinion of the City, appears to be in its best interest. The right is reserved to hold any or all proposals for a period of sixty (60) days from the opening thereof. The City of Kinston has an affirmative policy of fostering, promoting and conducting business with women and minority owned enterprises. Women and minority contractors are encouraged to participate in the bidding process.
