As of April 25, 2024, a construction manager and an architect has been selected. Sub-bid opportunities have not been determined. Construction is anticipated to begin in June 2024. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City of Bradenton, Florida, is requesting submittals from qualified individuals/firms for Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) Services for Fire Station #2 for the purpose of selecting a provider to furnish all necessary labor, services, materials, equipment, tools, consumables, transportation, skills and incidentals required for the City of Bradenton, Florida, in conformance with bid document, which include technical specifications and/or a scope of work. Those individuals/firms interested in being considered for this (RFQ) are instructed to submit their submittal on the forms provided, pertinent to this project prior to 2:30 pm, May 9, 2023, via DemandStar*. Submittals shall be clearly marked: RFQ No.: 23-007EJ –Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) Services for Fire Station #2. Bid documents and technical specifications for this project are available from DemandStar* at (800) 711-1712. Vendors who obtain specifications and plans from sources other than DemandStar are cautioned that the bid package may be incomplete. The City may not accept incomplete bids. The City’s official bidders list is obtained from DemandStar. The deadline to submit all questions, inquiries, or requests concerning interpretations, clarificationor additional information pertaining to the Request for Qualifications is April 26, 2023, by 5:00pm. There will be a Non-Mandatory Pre-Conference meeting on April 19th, 2023, at 2:00pm via Zoom. The conference will begin promptly at the specified time. The purpose of the conference will be to familiarize all respondents with the process. Respondents are encouraged to communicate any questions regarding this RFQ by the deadline stated above. Questions should be sent in writing via email to Erin.Jones@bradentonfl.gov Questions and answers will be communicated to all respondents by issuing an addendum posted to https://www.demandstar.com The City reserves the right to modify this schedule at any time. Submit a GMP estimate based on 100% construction documents and specifications within forty-five (45) calendar days of receipt. The estimate will be a summary of general conditions, general requirements, insurances, bonds, fees, costs of the work and actual subcontractor proposals tabulated with detailed scope completeness and accuracy, along with assumptions and qualifications. The City may unilaterally require, by written order, changes altering, adding to, or deducting from the resulting contract specifications, provided that such changes are within the general scope of the contract. The City may make an equitable adjustment in the resulting contract price or delivery date if the change affects the cost or time of performance. Such equitable adjustments require the written consent of the awarded Offeror, which shall not be unreasonably withheld. If unusual quantity requirements arise, the City may solicit separate solicitations to satisfy them
