Planning to rebid project, no timeline available at this time. 6/28/23 CITY OF AMARILLO IS SOLICITING BIDS FOR THE REPAIR OF ONE NATURAL GAS ENGINE FOR HOLLYWOOD TREATMENT PLANT PER SPECIFICATIONS Experience is an important factor. Contractors bidding on this project must have 5 years of experience in servicing and repairing similar equipment; to include servicing and repairing natural gas engines. New repair parts will be accepted. Exceptions can be made to use refurbished parts in the event new parts are unavailable. Installing used parts will need to be approved by the City of Amarillo. 2.1 Furnish labor, travel costs, materials, equipment, and all other necessary items needed for the repairs of (1) one Waukesha natural gas engine Repair and replace 12 pistons. 2.3 Repair and replace 12 piston lines. 2.4 Repair and replace 12 piston rings. Repair and replace 12 piston rod bearings. 2.6 Reinstall 12 heads that are already en location. 2.7 Provide and replace all coolant and lubrication to the engine. 2.8 Tune and test run the engine All questions must be submitted at least 10 days prior to the bid due date. All questions will be answered at least 7 days prior to the bid due date. Ifthe questions cannot be fully answered by that time then, the opening date ofthe bid will be extended by amendment to allow sufficient time for all questions to be answered and those answers to be provided to all registered vendors.
