Renovation of a water / sewer project in Dallas, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
This section covers the excavation, trenching, and backfilling for all water mains, sanitary sewers, and service laterals up to the point of connection to the building sewer, property line, right of way, or back of curb as applicable. A five percent (5%) bid bond, shall be furnished to City of Dallas for any bid as required in bid package or document. Failure to submit appropriate bonding will result in automatic rejection of bid. Bonding company must be authorized to do business in Georgia by the Georgia Insurance Commission, listed in the Department of the Treasury's publication of companies holding certificates of authority as acceptable surety Federal bonds and as acceptable reinsuring companies, and have an A.M. Best rating as stated in the insurance requirement of the solicitation. The City reserves the right to reject any bid if the evidence submitted by, or investigation of such bidder fails to satisfy the City that such bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the contract.
