The existing 6" and 8" water mains on the east and west side of Barnhill Drive will be retired in place. Point of connection (south): Existing 12" water main in tunnel Point of connection (west): Existing 8" water main in tunnel (Alternate #2) Point of connection (north): Existing 12" direct-bury water main Approximately 1,000 feet of water main, 800 feet in tunnel Reconnect existing fire hydrant Pipe thru tunnel to be ASTM A312, Grade 304L stainless steel Direct-bury water pipe to be ductile iron cl350, fully restrained with polyethylene encasement A bid security for 5% of the total bid.
