The Oregon Park District will engage a firm for professional engineering services (preliminary engineering, construction design and construction observation) to assist with trail completion. Key project items of consideration include the following: - 1.88 Mile Shared Use Path - Separated path from the roadway - Southern Terminus will connect to the existing sidewalk at the NW corner of IL 64 and River Road intersection - 10’ wide multiuse paved trail connected to a 5’ sidewalk - Estimated 240,000 annual visitors to Lowden State Park - Bidding of the project is expected to occur in the Winter of 2023/2024 - The anticipated project budget is $3.5 million All requests for further information or clarifications regarding this Request for Qualifications shall be submitted in writing by 10 a.m. on May 11, 2023 to Erin Folk at erin@oregonpark.org. Responses will be sent to all firms who have expressed an interest.
