The firms selected for this list will be used on an as-needed basis to provide environmental review and analysis assistance for a variety of regulatory and non-regulatory projects/tasks throughout the entire Park District. The primary job type would be support CEQA and/or NEPA environmental review of Park District projects, with the Park District serving as the Lead Agency. Under the supervision of the Park District's Park Planning staff, projects/tasks could include, but are not limited to: 1) preparing and reviewing environmental resources documents/reports/materials prepared for and by the Park District; 2) monitoring, surveying, evaluating, and analyzing environmental resources; 3) providing recommendations for appropriate levels of CEQA/NEPA review. Consultants may also assist with other environmental resources projects/tasks that support and/or are assigned by the Park Planning staff. Projects/tasks are expected to be completed by a qualified individual with sufficient knowledge of environmental resources and regulations in Alameda and Contra Costa counties.
