New construction of a bridge / tunnel in Bozeman, Montana. Completed plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel.

Earthwork, sitework, utilities, setting of precast, waterproofing, rebar, concrete demo, concrete footings and foundations, concrete slab on grade, masonry veneer, steel joists, doors & hardware, mechanical systems, plumbing system, electrical system, pipe rack, paving, striping, temp fencing and barricading, hardscape/landscape renovation and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. This work is to include all tools, equipment, materials and labor to complete this project. Clarifications The foundation drain for the tunnel is being removed from the drawings. The tunnel orientation will move 6 inches to the east so that it is centered under 7th. The goal of this is so that the excavation will remain between the east and west curbs of 7th so that only the asphalt sections will have to be demolished and replaced. Please see alternate 1 to price this section if excavation needs to be wider. MSU will be providing the pre-cast sections of the tunnel FOB Bridger Precast. Transport of pre-cast will be required by the contractor. Precast sections roughly 25,000lbs per piece. The pre-cast will have picking eyes, embeds for fastening system, and galvanized anchors at the exterior sides to seat pre-cast together. Picking and fastening shackles will be provided by the pre-cast manufacturer. Equipment used to seat pre-cast sections not provided. All restorations will be to rough grade, MSU will handle final grade, and associated landscaping.
