Questions must be sent to one of the following: Email: Michael.Dean@dot.ca.gov Or mail to: California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) Division of Procurement and Contracts Attention: Michael Dean 1727 30th Street, MS 65 Sacramento, CA 95816 Contractor agrees to provide to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) removal and replacement of Rolling Gates and Gate Operators services as described herein: Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, vehicles, travel, and incidentals necessary to remove and legal dispose of two (2) existing 7 feet by 16 Gates, Gate Operators, and components. Contractor shall also provide and install one (1) new 32 Chain Link Rolling Gate, 1.875-inch () frame with three (3) rows of barbed wire and razor wire on top, Gate Operator(s), and components as needed to bring up to safe and viable conditions. Contractor shall verify all field measurements. 2. Public Works services shall be performed at Caltrans District 06, Kettleman Maintenance Station (MS) located at 32169 Brown Street, Kettleman City, CA 93239 within Kings County. 3. Any reference to Caltrans Contract Manager shall also include designee. 4. This Agreement will commence on June 30, 2023 (estimate), or upon approval by Caltrans, whichever is later, and no work shall begin before that time. This Agreement is of no effect unless approved by Caltrans. Contractor shall not receive payment for work performed prior to approval of the Agreement and before receipt of notice to proceed by Caltrans Contract Manager. This Agreement will expire on December 31, 2023 (estimate). The services shall be provided during working hours Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., except State holidays. The parties may amend this Agreement as permitted by law.
