Questions must be in writing sent via e-mail to Crystal Ford-Bellamy The Villages Community Development Districts are requesting proposals for Fire Systems Inspections & Repairs. Qualified firms wishing to respond to "RFP #23P-002 Fire Systems Inspections & Repairs" must provide all equipment, labor and materials described in this document, whether directly or through subcontractors/sub-consultants. This does not, however, limit the use of sub-contractors or sub-consultants. The intent of this RFP is to procure qualified, professional licensed Contractor/Supplier to provide 100% turnkey projects that include visual inspections, functional testing, maintenance, replacement, and repairs of fire protection systems including fire alarm systems, fire sprinkler systems, fire pump systems, water backflows, portable fire extinguishers, electronic fire alarm control systems and all associated components of the system for various Villages Community Development District locations; per the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards, federal, state, and local rules and regulations, permits, codes, and ordinances which govern this type of service. In instances where conflict between codes, reference standards, and other contract documents occurs, the most stringent requirement shall govern. Supplier shall provide all adequate and appropriate labor, supervision, parts and materials, equipment, plans, permitting and local and state inspections, record keeping and signage. Proposals shall include the following as all-inclusive, travel time, trip charges and delivery charges. Supplier shall, at a minimum, perform all required quarterly, semi-annual, annual, three-year, five-year and twenty-year visual inspections and functional testing, as specified in NFPA standards, to ensure all fire protection systems are operating properly and as intended. Upon completion of an inspection or scheduled test, Supplier shall provide a report, in PDF format, and list all deficiencies to the District Property Management Director within seven (7) calendar days of when the inspection or scheduled test occurred. Along with the list of deficiencies, a quote shall be included, based on contract rates and requirements, to repair the deficiencies. Quotes shall include a completion time frame. Any deficiencies noted shall be reported to the District Property Management Director immediately.
