Renovation of a municipal facility in Charleston, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The following specifications are intended to describe the need to replace five (5) each ornamental copper collector boxes and 6" corrugated downspouts on the Kanawha County Courthouse roof for the Kanawha County Commission and the details contained in these Specifications are not designed to exclude any vendor from bidding but are offered as a means of describing the needs of the Kanawha County Commission. Where brand names may be used, the words "or equal" are assumed to follow. Provide all equipment and labor to replace five (5) each ornamental copper collector boxes and 6" corrugated downspouts on the Kanawha County Courthouse roof located at 409 Virginia Street, East, Charleston, WV 25301. Remove & dispose of existing headers & downspouts. Fabricate & install new ornamental collector boxes, 6" spout, and tie-in to existing roof drainage system. Provide manlift to access all work areas (suitable ground clearance required). Work is to be performed so as not to disrupt the public's business. Courthouse hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. B&O Taxes are to be paid to the City of Charleston. A Building Permit from the City of Charleston is not required, but should be requested as a courtesy to the City of Charleston.
