Questions must be submitted via the Port of Vancouver ProcureWare system no later than Monday, May 22, 2023, at 12:00 PM. The Terminal 1 Dock Demolition Project facilitates the destruction, limited salvage, and removal of the existing waterfront dock in support of the Terminal 1 Waterfront development project. The Port of Vancouver reserves the right to cancel this invitation or reject any and all bids submitted or to waive any minor formalities of this call if, in the judgment of the Port Commissioners, the best interests of the Port would be served. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid after the hour set for the opening thereof, unless the award of contract is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) days. If it is determined to be in the best interests of the Port, the Port reserves the right to request an extension of bid prices during the review process. Settlement monitoring is required during all demolition and as such the monitoring is necessary when the existing deck is being removed, prior to pile demolition Individuals attending the non-mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit will be required to furnish and utilize safety equipment to include reflective clothing (or vest), hard hat and sturdy shoes
