The Little Rock School District is requesting SEALED bids from qualified licensed contractors to provide for CHILLER REPLACEMENTS at Hall High. Questions Deadline: 5/12/2023 10:45 AM (CT) Contract documents obtained through the Design Professional or their representative(s) are considered the official version and take precedence should any discrepancies occur. Bid forms are available online. Interested bidders must register at this site to download bid forms and submit a bid electronically. This is the preferred method of submission. Bidders must conform to the requirements of the Arkansas State Licensing Law for Commercial Contractors. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any formalities in bids received. Price alone may not be the determining factor. Award will be based upon those considerations, which are in the best interest of the District and will be made to the responsive, responsible bidder whose bid is judged to be the most effective and economical for the purpose intended, according to the requirements and specifications stated in the Invitation for Bids. The contract will be awarded to the contractor, who submits the lowest most responsible, responsive offer complying with the instructions specified within. Award will be based on those considerations which are in the best interest of the District. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any irregularities or formalities in any solicitation or bid responses. Price alone may not be the determining factor. Contractor shall be prepared to begin work on this project UPON RECEIPT OF NOTICE TO PROCEED. All work for this project shall be completed NO LATER MARCH 31, 2024 WITH CONSISTENT COMMUNICATION WITH CONSTRUCTION MANAGER ON LEAD TIME OF EQUIPMENT.. If the Contractor is unable to meet this deadline liquidated damages will be applied as specified herein. It shall be the bidders responsibility to visit the site of the proposed work and to thoroughly acquaint themselves with conditions to be encountered. Failure to make preliminary observations and inspections shall in no manner relieve the bidder from the complete and proper execution of the service or requirement of this work described herein. Liquidated damages imposed against the contractor for failure to meet the final agreed upon completion date will be one thousand dollars ($1000.00) for each calendar day beyond the final agreed upon completion date.
