Description of work: Retrofit to the county's existing storm system to install stormwater filter catch basins and curb inlets, pavement restoration work, cement concrete curbs and sidewalk, traffic control, and other related work. Primary bid items: Archaeological Monitoring, Storm Pipe, Stormwater Filter Catch Basins and Curb Inlets, Temporary Traffic Control, Pedestrian Traffic Control, Commercial HMA, Planing Bituminous Pavement, Cement Concrete Traffic Curb and Cement Concrete Sidewalk. Bidders are encouraged to "Register as a Bidder" in order to receive automatic email notification of future addenda and to be placed on the Bidders List. Electronic and paper copies of bid documents are not available from Clark County. It is the sole responsibility of the Bidder to obtain Addenda, if any. Clark County accepts no responsibility or liability and will provide no accommodation to bidders who fail to check for addenda and submit inadequate or incomplete bids. Questions and requests for clarification must be submitted using the electronic "CRP Inquiry Submittal Form" located on the County website. Responses will be posted on the project's "Bid Inquiry Log". All bids must be submitted on the forms provided in the bid documents. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the Bidder's company name, project title, project number, bid opening date, and "SEALED BID" clearly marked on the outside of the envelope. Bids submitted by FAX or email will not be accepted. Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or proposal bond in an amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total bid. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish a satisfactory contract bond, the bid deposit shall be forfeited to Clark County. Clark County, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
