Demolition, site work and new construction of a civil project in Rancho Cordova, California. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project consists of reconstruction of the Mills Tower Pump Station to increase its capacity and reliability, and the enlargement of the downstream pipe system. The implementation cost for this project is estimated at $24.6 million. Because of the high cost of this project, the City is planning to construct this project in phases. The project will be constructed from downstream to upstream starting with the pipe improvements required to convey the increased flows downstream from the pump station and then moving on to the pump station improvements. FY 2021/22 - FY 2025/26 5-Year CIP *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
