Renovation of a multi-residential development in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a nine-story above grade multi-residential development.
General and Mechanical Construction This Contract is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended, which provides that training, employment and other economic opportunities generated by HUD assistance or HUD-assisted projects covered by section 3, shall, to the greatest extent feasible, be directed to low- and very low-income persons, particularly persons who are recipients of HUD assistance for housing. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project, and that the Contractor must ensure that ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin.
