Construction of a new Northwest Area Water Supply (NAWS) raw water transmission pipeline segment, connection to NAWS discharge pipeline outside an existing Snake Creek Pumping Plant (SCPP) discharge structure (discharge pipeline connection will require coordination with another Contract completing the pipe penetration through the existing discharge structure wall), construction of a cast-in-place concrete isolation valve vault, connection to the existing NAWS raw water transmission pipeline, and other miscellaneous work. Work for the NAWS discharge pipeline involves a connection to piping being constructed under a separate contract, Installation of approximately 2,200LF of buried 36" restrained-joint ductile iron pipe (Owner Provided pipe and fittings) along US HWY 83 of which approximately 1,400LF must be encased in reinforced concrete with expansion joints, thrust block and connection to the existing NAWS raw water transmission pipeline north of SCPP, and construction of an isolation valve vault with electrical, controls, SCADA systems, and high pressure piping and valves, (Owner Provided Isolation Valve Vault wall pipe). The Contractor will not perform Work or permit the performance of Work by subcontractors outside regular dawn to dusk working hours or on Saturdays, Sundays, or legal State holidays without providing written notice of proposed Work to the Engineer a minimum of 5 days in advance and contingent on the Owner's written consent. Milestone 1 - Construction of Underground Pipeline shall be completed by January 30, 2024. Substantial Completion for all WORK shall be June 30, 2024. Final Completion for all WORK shall be September 30, 2024.
