Site work for an educational facility in Burnaby, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility.
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is to invite Proposals for the supply and installation of new synthetic turf surface and shock pad at Burnaby North Secondary School Field (“BNSSF”) in the City of Burnaby (“City”), B.C., Canada. The original BNSSF was completed in 2006 with an infilled synthetic turf system. The existing synthetic turf product is FieldTurf FTOM 1S dura-spine monofilament fibre. The original fibre height was 63.5mm and the original total weight of the synthetic turf/primary & secondary backing, as installed, was 58 oz./yd2, not including infill. The existing infill product is sand and SBR granular material. The sand was originally installed to 4.65 lbs./ft2 and the SBR to 3.1 lbs./ft2. The main scope of work included under this RFP includes the supply and installation of approximately 10,163m2 of synthetic turf and shock pad on BNSSF and other associated work listed Section 4.0.
