Tank Replacements and Filtration System The City of Holbrook is soliciting competitive bids for the replacement of North Tank (20,000 gallons) and replacement of South Tank (50,00 gallons), as well as recommended Filtration system on behalf of the Sun Valley Utility Service Area. See attached. Time to complete this project: 120 days Sun Valley Utility Service Area, east of Holbrook on Interstate 40 1) North Tank, off 5th Street between Quail and Quartzsite Street. 2) South Tank, South 32nd Street between Sandhill and Sunrise Road3 3) Filtration system to be house in a building located on Sunset Road Removal and installation of a new above ground 20,000-gallon steel tank. Tank replacements include: site work preparation, Leak testing and disinfection of new tanks. Upgrade of electrical service and electrical and control systems as applicable. Install new valve vault, check valve and all plumbing/piping connections as needed. Exterior access ladder equipped with a cable safety climb, safety cage, and bottom isolation door. Platform at the exterior ladder top with hand railing. Screened top vent, exterior lights at the ladder or stairway base and on top platform, controlled by a switch in a locked box. Interior level sensor, top hatch with cover. The interior platform below the hatch to accommodate entry for cleaning and inspection.
