SUNY Plattsburgh intends to make an award for Annual Fire Alarm System Inspection under our discretionary authority, pursuant to NYS Education Law 355(5)(a), which is up to $125,000, for the above noted service. A sealed bid will not be held. If you are interested in providing a quote for the above service, please refer to the attached Request for Quote and submit as directed within the document All payment applications must be accompanied by certified payrolls providing proof of prevailing wage rates paid to individuals who performed the work. Since new prevailing wage rates do not come out until July, it is suggested that you use PRC#2023005004 to prepare your quote. 100% Fire Alarm Device Testing of all buildings (See: SUNY Plattsburgh Devices for a description of control panels and devices in each building) All panels will be in "TEST" mode while tests are being performed. Vendor will run all panel reports to verify current devices to be tested. Vendor will use panel report document format to provide the information for the Final Inspection Reports. Successful vendor will report any deficiency or repairs needed to any device to the Maintenance office at the end of each day that device inspection occurs. Successful vendor will return panel to normal condition at the end of each day. All smoke detectors will be smoke tested. A daily schedule of work to be performed the next work day will be provided to the MOC Manager each morning so that building occupants will be provided 24-hour notice that the fire alarm system inspections will be taking place in their buildings At the end of each work day a representative of the vendor will check out at the MOC Center. All annual testing to be completed between July 1, 2023 and August 18, 2023. SUNY reserves the right to Reject any and all quotes received in response to this RFQ Vendors shall submit proposals to Jenna Beauregard at case8736@plattsburgh.edu in PDF format. The Subject line of the email should state vendor's name and: SUNY Plattsburgh - Annual Fire Alarm System Inspection. Completed responses must be received no later than 3:30 PM EST on May 30, 2023. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 2% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 2% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6% Contract term: 1 year Business entities awarded an identical or substantially similar procurement contract within the past five years: NCC Systems, Inc. Discretionary procurements between $50,000 and $500,000
