The Hopewell Water Renewal's (HWR) Facility is seeking bids from qualified bidders for High Pressure Water Blasting and Power Vacuum Loading For Your Bid to Be Considered, It Must Be Submitted on This Invitation for Bid in the Places Provided. Bidders Shall Sign This Form (Page 3) Without Detaching From Rest of Bid and Must Return Bid in Its Entirety. Any Bid Received After the Announced Time and Date of Opening, Whether by Mail or Otherwise, Will Not Be Considered and Will Be Returned Unopened. The Right is Reserved to Reject Any or All Bids Submitted and Also to Place the Order Where It Appears It Will Be to the Best Interest of the City. All Quoted Prices Shall Be Fob Locations Each Contractor is expected to comply with all applicable Federal, State, City of Hopewell, and HWR safety regulations. Accordingly, the Contractor, employees, and subcontractors must be provided and trained in the use of all applicable safety equipment. Hard hats, safety shoes, and eye protection must be worn at all times. All safety procedures related to confined space, lockout tagout, and hazardous/non-hazardous materials shall be the responsibility of the contractor. HWR safety policies shall be available upon request of contractor. Definitions and Conditions a. Straight Time: Straight time shall be in effect from Monday at 7:00 A.M. until Friday at 5:00 P.M., excluding holidays. b. Overtime: All overtime shall be in effect from 5:00 P.M. on Friday until 7:00 A.M. on Monday and all holiday hours. c. Holidays: Holidays shall be New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. d. Ability to respond: When the selected contractor is unable to respond, the next low bidder will be called to do the requested service. e. Crew size: The HWR reserve the right to specify the crew size, after the contractor's recommendation. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope. 2.
