The bids will be publicly opened and read by the Treasurer. The bids will be tabulated and reported to the Board at its next meeting. No bid shall be considered unless made on the bid form available at the Office of the Treasurer, Tri-Rivers Career Center, 2222 Marion-Mt. Gilead Rd., Marion, OH 43302, and in accordance with the general bidding instructions, contractor's personal property tax affidavit, bid guarantee and contract bond and bid form which are available and may be obtained at the Office of the Treasurer. Bids must contain the name of every person interested therein and be accompanied by a bid and performance bond in the full amount of the bid tendered as a guarantee that the bidder will, if the award is made to the bidder, enter into a proper contract with the Board for the Project, or a certified check, cashier's check, money order, or letter of credit in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid tendered as a guarantee that the bidder will, if the award is made to the bidder, enter into a proper contract with the Board for the Project and furnish a performance bond for the amount of the contract at the time the bidder executes the contract. All such bonds, certified checks, cashier's checks, money orders, and letters of credit shall be payable to the Tri-Rivers Joint Vocational School District Board of Education. The Board intends to accept the lowest responsible and responsive bid for the Project, but reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or parts of any or all bids, and to waive irregularities which may occur in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of the bids. The attention of bidders is directed to the statutory requirements of the state of Ohio relating to the licensing of corporations organized under the laws of any other state.
