The Franklin County Commissioners, located at 140 Main Street, Farmington, ME are requesting sealed bid proposals for grading the gravel roads at cost per mile in the Unorganized Territories of Franklin County. 1. All sod and gravel berms will be removed from shoulders of roads. 2. All roads will be graded to remove potholes and ruts. 3. All roads will be graded to a 4% slope from center line to shoulder both lanes. 4. All roads will be raked to remove over size stones. 5. All roads will be Compacted as needed at price/hour for compacting. The type of grader must be indicated on the bid proposal and the number of years of experience grading roads operator has. A list of references is required for your bid to be considered. the Franklin County Commissioners will review the bids at their regularly scheduled meeting starting at 3:15 PM. Franklin County reserves the right to reject and or all bids for any reason.
