This project involves landscape and utility improvements to beautify and improve accessibility at the 9th Avenue Gateway into Golden Gate Park. The scope of work encompasses the northwest and northeast sides of the intersection at 9th and Lincoln. Work includes new paving and curb ramps, stairs and masonry work, planting and irrigation, fencing, lighting, traffic signal improvements, relocation of a Muni transit shelter and some trenching and drainage work in the roadway. The project will also require demo and removal of two large cypress trees, among other work as described in the bid documents.
