Renovation of an educational facility in Springfield, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
All work must take place outside of Owner-occupied hours. This site has summer school. Work may take place May 26-June 4, July 1-July 4, July 22-August 11. The Work shall be Substantially Complete by August 11, 2023. Final Completion shall be September 8, 2023. Provide all labor and materials to repair and paint south west entrance soffit. Remove corbels and any necessary moldings in a manner which preserves as much of the original materials as possible. Replace soffit panel with 1/8” Aluminum composite ACM panel. Apply one coat Sherwin Williams Kem Bond HS primer and two coats Sherwin Williams Water Based Alkyd Urethane, color matched to existing. Install flashing vertically behind guttering, which encloses the fascia, and then terminates a minimum of 1” after horizontal return. Reinstall corbels and moldings to match original profile. Coat all surfaces from the uppermost face of guttering down to the molding underneath the corbels with one coat Sherwin Williams Kem Bond HS primer and two coats Sherwin Williams Water Based Alkyd Urethane, color matched to existing. End result shall be visually identical to existing conditions in order to preserve historic design and continuity to other similar entrances.
